School for INNER SOUND offers the Basic and Advanced Tuning Fork Trainings for personal and professional use. The two trainings taken together are the Complete Tuning Fork Training, and this registration covers both weekends. You may take them for your own use, for use with family and friends, or as a first step toward optional Practitioner Certification. You will learn the INNER SOUND approach to using tuning forks at the ears in pairs, with attention to relaxation, careful listening and practical application. The course includes the history and tuning of the forks, the principles behind their design, demonstration, return demonstration, video material and time for questions. The trainings are educational courses and do not confer a license to practice. How Practitioner Certification is viewed in any given country or profession depends on local regulations and on your own background; each student is responsible for meeting the requirements where they live. Certification requires written work, a number of documented sessions with others and on yourself, and a technique exam plus an oral interview. There is no deadline to complete the requirements. Write to info@innersoundonline.com and we will send you the current requirements in full. Weekend 1: Basic Tuning Fork Training This is the foundation of the INNER SOUND approach: the forks themselves, how they are applied, and the order of use. 1. History of tuning forks and INNER SOUND Tuning Forks 2. How tuning forks are tuned, including how INNER SOUND tuning forks are tuned 3. Principles of sound and tuning: purity of tuning and the pure fifth 4. The difference between INNER SOUND ear-applied tuning forks and vibrational tuning forks applied on the body 5. Frequently asked questions about tuning fork sessions 6. The INNER SOUND Basic Tuning Fork elements: their design, use and place in the INNER SOUND approach. These include Pair 5, Personal Tuners, Matrices, the Set of 13 and OM Tuners 7. How to activate and apply the tuning forks in a variety of positions, including personal practice, work with another person and group use 8. The order of use for the Basic elements 9. Guidance on when care, adaptation or referral may be needed, including pregnancy, children, auditory-processing concerns and traumatic brain injury 10. Ways of planning a relaxed and careful use of the forks 11. Question-and-answer review of the material Weekend 2: Advanced Tuning Fork Training This is an in-depth study of the nineteen advanced protocols known as INNER SOUND motifs. 1. Origin of the INNER SOUND motifs 2. Guidelines for motif use on their own and with Basic elements 3. How to choose a motif 4. Order of use 5. How motifs may be combined 6. The motifs in relation to four recurring personal themes: habits and behaviors, self-esteem, control, and living one’s own life or truth Training is based on Pacific Daylight Time. The student manual and related documents will be sent by Google Drive link upon registration. On completion of both weekends, School for INNER SOUND awards a Certificate of Attendance for 16 hours of instruction. Both weekends are recorded and sent to participants after the training. Your consent is given when you sign up. REQUIRED TUNING FORK PURCHASE: This registration is for the training only. Purchase of tuning forks is separate. Minimum purchase is Pair 5 from the Set of 13. The trainings are practical and taught by Zoom, so you need your own forks to work with at home. Better is the Set of 13. Best is the Set of 13 with the OM Tuners from the OM Set of 14.
